TWO SIDES OF A COIN
the daemon sultan dreams all, but he does not have a mind of his own, and he does not do much besides blaspheming while asleep. the daemon sultan has two manifestations of equal strength and power, the crawling chaos and the twilight gold. since the daemon sultan is mindless and unaware, he needs a messenger, a personality, a soul, a prophet, so the crawling chaos was born to be the commander and soul of the outer gods. even if he was equally as powerful as the crawling chaos, the twilight gold was unable to assume the role due to him being just a mindless abomination ravaging through the stars. but eventually, the twilight gold awoken from his violent slumber, and developing an urge to reflect, he left the court and began aimlessly wandering.take the daemon sultan as a coin and it represents his mind, with the twilight gold and the crawling chaos representing the two sides. though despite forever being against one another, they share a common goal, and that is to keep the sultan in his slumber, even if it meant banding together so that existence continues.
SHANGRI-LA
since his exodus from the court, he created a metaphysical space named shangri-la.shangri-la is a space separate from reality, a domain wholly weaved by the twilight gold. it was there where he remained in isolation, and only after millions of years later did he deign to take upon the mantle of his first avatar to once again step into the realms.it is impossible to gain access to the dimension, and entrance is only granted by his will. within was an infinite stretch of space, though wherever one would stand in the dimension, they will always see a gargantuan mountain at the so-called center. that mountain would none other be the true body of the twilight gold, a cosmic beast of eld, amongst the first brood of the daemon sultan.however, he is not the only inhabitant of the dimension. there are several other lesser abominations, his hordes of haunting horrors that roamed the place, making the shangri-la an extremely hostile environment.slumbering in this realm of twilight, he shall ever rest.
SHAY KARIHA
with his first avatar, shay kariha, he traversed and scourged the great expanse. although his motives were benevolent, his judgement was harsh and unbiased, delivering his unprejudiced judgements to maintain the balance with his chaos. he had come across a multitude of civilizations, and all of them called him the judicator, as he would always appear when tumultuous strife had tipped the balance, and he would never let such happenings go undealt with. over time, he would have accumulated a hundred of thousands of names for him to appear as, some of them were famed figures, while the others were obscured into history. his influence does not require him to be physically present, he could simply whisper ideas into a inanimate and animate mind, and they would inherit and fabricate them. who knows, most miracles and perhaps even crises may have of been his meddling with humanity and other civilizations.as for his name, he had undertaken the name of coinchenn; a great old one, and an avatar of his, who was best known to be the slayer of curruid. by doing so he would not need to reveal his true identity and risk the horror it brings.
CYNTHIA'S REST
as the shay kariha, he made his corporeal nest upon a moon, affectionately naming it cynthia's rest. the moon is capable for cosmic travel, often used as a way of orbiting celestial bodies that he has businesses on.despite not needing to travel corporeally, or even needing to be, he fancies the theatrics.
BESTIARY

the satraps, as mentioned before, are the twilight gold's personal hands , and the mothers of the haunting horrors who serve as his underlings. the three sisters also serve as the stewards of shangri-la, usually being the first that outsiders would meet should they venture into the realm. they view the twilight gold as their master, and though they are independent, they are forever loyal and devoted to him.

the haunting horrors of twilight are abominations of various forms, ranging from humanoids to beasts of unthinkable proportions. though being the rank-and-file, they are still formidable creatures to contend with.
